Utsnitt av Alexandre Cabanels maleri L’Ange déchu: et blikk med en tåre over en arm

Vision

We built the shop around misc: the part of your looks you can work on yourself. We gather the tools, explain how to use them and put them together into a routine that’s easy to stick to.

What is misc?

Looks are often split into a few main pillars: facial structure, the body and misc. Misc is everything else, such as brows, skin, hair, teeth and posture. It’s the pillar you have the most control over, and it makes a big difference to how the rest of your face comes across.

Why misc matters

Harmony. When your skin, hair and brows are well kept, nothing pulls the eye away. Your features fit together better, and your face looks complete.

Contrast. Dark, defined brows and lashes against clear, even skin give your face sharpness.

A masculine look. Full, straight brows, a strong neck and upright posture give a more masculine look.

An example: your eyebrows

Your brows frame your eyes and are often the first thing that gives your face contrast. Thin, light or untidy brows make your gaze weaker. Full, dark, well-kept brows give your eyes more weight and your face a clearer, more masculine look.

You’ll need a brow kit for the shape, a dermastamp with 0.25 mm needles once a week and, if you like, brow tint. Press the stamp lightly along the brow, keep it away from the eye, and don’t use it on the same day as the tint. It takes ten minutes a week, and the difference is often bigger than you’d think.

Where you’ll get the most out of it

  • Brows and lashes: a frame and contrast around the eyes.
  • Skin: even, clear skin gives harmony and lets your features stand out.
  • Hair: a cut that suits your face, and a scalp in good condition.
  • Neck and posture: a stronger neck and upright posture give a more masculine silhouette.

You can read how to work on each area in the routine.

Time and consistency

Misc is built over time. What you do every day and every week is what makes the difference, and the results grow over months. Take a photo in the same light every four weeks, and it’s easier to see your progress.

How we work

We keep a small range where every product has a clear job, with instructions and safety advice in English. We buy skincare and food supplements from Norwegian and European suppliers with correct labelling. You won’t find countdown timers or fake offers here. It should feel like shopping in a small shop in Frogner, Oslo: calm, clear and run by people who know what they’re talking about.
