Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you, as a consumer in the United Kingdom, buy goods from the Looksmaxing online shop. Please read them before you order.
1. The contract
The contract is made up of these terms, the information you’re given when you order, and the order confirmation. If they conflict, anything agreed specifically for your purchase takes priority. You also have rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Who we are
Seller: TN OTTESEN (Looksmaxing), organisation number 938654328 (Norway)
Address: Cort Adelers gate 2, 0254 Oslo, Norway
Email: thomas.stang.ottesen@gmail.com
Phone: +47 46 86 01 25
Buyer: the person placing the order. You must be 18 or over to buy from us. The goods are sold for personal use and not for resale.
3. Prices
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. There are no extra charges on top. Delivery is added and shown at checkout before you pay; see delivery.
In sales and offers, the “was” price is the lowest price the product has had in the 30 days before the reduction started.
4. Orders and order confirmation
The contract is binding once we have sent you an order confirmation by email. Check that the confirmation matches what you ordered, and let us know as soon as possible if anything is wrong.
If there is an obvious error in a price or description that you ought to have noticed, we are not bound by it. If a product sells out after you’ve ordered, we’ll tell you straight away and refund what you paid for it.
5. Payment
You pay with one of the payment methods shown at checkout. If you pay by card, the amount is reserved when you order and only taken when the goods are dispatched.
6. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom and ship from our own stock in Oslo. Your order normally arrives within 4–8 working days. The delivery time is also shown on each product and under delivery. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of your order.
7. Responsibility for the goods
The goods are our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to someone you have named.
8. Your right to cancel
You have 14 days to cancel from the day you receive the goods. Read more under cancellations and returns, where you’ll also find the cancellation form.
9. Late delivery
If delivery is delayed, we’ll let you know and give you a new delivery date. If we don’t deliver within the agreed time, or within 30 days, you may give us a further reasonable period to deliver, or, where the delivery date was essential, treat the contract as at an end and get a full refund.
10. Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they aren’t:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods and get a full refund;
- after 30 days, or if you prefer, you can ask for a repair or replacement. If that isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the problem, you can get a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund;
- a fault that appears within six months of delivery is assumed to have been there at delivery, unless we can show otherwise.
You can bring a claim for up to six years from delivery (five years in Scotland). Contact us before you send anything back, and send a photo of the fault if you can. Please keep the product until the matter is settled. For a valid claim, we pay the return delivery.
11. If payment isn’t made
If you don’t pay, we may hold back the goods, ask for payment or cancel the order. If a parcel isn’t collected, the rules under delivery apply.
12. Guarantees
We don’t give any separate guarantee beyond your legal rights. If the manufacturer gives a guarantee, it is in addition to, and does not limit, your legal rights.
13. Using the products
Follow the instructions and safety advice on the product page and the packaging. Some products, such as retinol and the dermastamp, are for adults only. The products don’t replace advice from a doctor, dentist or other healthcare professional, and food supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet.
14. Personal data
We use your personal data to complete your purchase. Read more in our privacy policy.
15. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first, and we’ll try to find a solution together. For free advice on your rights, you can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service at citizensadvice.org.uk. You can also take your claim to the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
